August 2020 Channel Changes

As your LOCAL cable TV provider, ImOn Communications works hard to provide you the best value in cable TV, and we wanted to inform you about some changes that are coming to your cable TV package.

On August 12th, ImOn will be adding several new HD channels to the Local Plus and Digital cable TV channel Lineups. We will also be expanding our Local TV lineup to include more channels. QVC, channel 13, will be moved to the Local Plus lineup at this time too.

Action may be required to view these new channels after August 12th.

If you have a TV with an ImOn set-top cable box, no action is required. If you have a TV that does not have an ImOn set-top box connected to it, you will need to do a channel rescan in order to pick up the new channels after August 12th. Instructions and a video on how to rescan your TV can be found below.

Download the new channel lineups as of August 12th below:

Channel Rescan Instructions

Each television has its own unique steps for rescanning for new channels.  While every remote is different, often the words ENTER, OK, or SELECT are interchangeable.  The best way to complete a channel scan is to refer to your TV owner's manual.

• Use your remote to access the MENU, SETUP, or SETTINGS function on your TV.  The UP/DOWN, and LEFT/RIGHT buttons can help you move from step to step through the on-screen menu.

• Look for an option that says TUNER, TUNER SETUP, CHANNELS, SYSTEM, or SETTINGS in the main menu. If asked, your tunermode is cable or digital cable.

• Next, select the option for DIGITAL CHANNEL SEARCH, AUTO CHANNEL SCAN, AUTOTUNING, PROGRAM CHANNELS,or SCAN CHANNELS,.

• Press ENTER, OK, or SELECT to start the scan.

• Some televisions may warn you that starting a scan will reprogram your channels. That's okay! Reprogramming your tuner is exactlywhat you want to do to access the upgrades and new channels.

• Once the scan starts, it can take just a few minutes or up to 15 minutes to complete. DON"T stop the process once it starts.
