2015 EIFFH Award

ImOn Communications was honored at an award ceremony on October 29, 2015, for our effort in the 2015 Eastern Iowa Freedom From Hunger campaign. ImOn received 2nd place among all Cedar Rapids companies and organizations for raising 40,285 meals to support the HACAP Food Reservoir.

The Eastern Iowa Freedom from Hunger Food Drive campaign is

designed to benefit area food assistance programs during the summer months when the demand for food assistance peaks, but supplies dwindle. The food drive has both a corporate and community component. Local companies, organizations, and individuals are encouraged to conduct a food or funds drive between June and August. Over all, the 2015 Eastern Iowa Freedom From Hunger campaign raised nearly a quarter-million meals that will assist 95 food assistance programs in the area.

The Especially for You Race Against Breast Cancer was founded by Mercy Medical Center and General Mills, and is dedicated to the memory of Sandy Knight, a brave and caring woman who lost her fight against breast cancer in July 1991.  The race helps support free mammograms and other breast-care services to area individuals in need through the Especially for You fund.
